Just breathe.

The old Texas we all knew, an uncrowded raw land with wide open space where our eyes could see forever and our view uncluttered by the influences of people, is quietly slipping away. It was a wild space that was a part of us and shaped us. Lately, there has emerged an awareness by all of us for the need for better thinking on our part towards the protection of what we have left of the old Texas. A house on a few acres may be in the forefront of many of your thoughts these days.

If you find a listing you like in this “Escape” section, then you will be looking at a place to breathe a little easier, to settle down, to garden, to feed the birds, watch the hummingbirds, and appreciate the land a bit more. I can guarantee that by helping you find that house on a few acres, your own personal escape, you will find a place that beckons you do your part to protect the land and the species under your care.

For those of you that are looking for a place like this, I will make you a promise. My promise is simple – to help you find something to your liking.
